Information About C&S Vouchers and Our Super 8 Film Scanning Service for freshly developed Super8 films (Kodak Vision / B&W Tri-X / ORWO etc.)
Much to our regret, films submitted through C&S vouchers are no longer scanned by SCREENSHOT. The decvelopment is still at Andec Filmtechnik but Super8 scanning is now carried out directly by C&S and therefore no longer uses our established scanning process.
If you would like to continue having your Super 8 films digitised in the proven SCREENSHOT quality, using our established scanning process in genuine 2K or 4K resolution, this is of course still possible.
To make sure you can continue to have your Super 8 films scanned in the proven SCREENSHOT quality, we have introduced a new and transparent workflow:
How it works
1. Order film processing directly from Andec Filmtechnik
Book the processing of your Super 8 film directly via Andec Filmtechnik’s online order form:
Please enter the following as the delivery address for the processed film:
SCREENSHOT
Sredzkistraße 24
10435 Berlin
Germany
2. Drop off or send your film to Andec
In Andec’s booking form, the simplest option is generally all you need. The most economical choice is usually “processing only” (“nur Entwicklung”).
You can either drop off your exposed Super 8 cartridges directly at Andec or send them to:
Andec Filmtechnik
Hasenheide 9
10693 Berlin
Germany
Processing at Andec usually takes approximately 1–2 weeks (estimated turnaround time, not guaranteed).
3. Professional Super8 scanning by SCREENSHOT
If you have entered SCREENSHOT as the delivery address, Andec will send your processed film directly to us.
Once we receive your film, we usually need only 2 business days to scan it. Your finished scan will then be provided via a convenient download link.
Your advantage
Costs for color negative Super8 scans are only 39 € in 2K or 59 € in 4K for the first reel, every additional reel costs 34 € in 2K / 54 € in 4K
We only charge you for scanning if there are actually images on the film. If something went wrong during filming and the film turns out to be unexposed, there will be no scanning charge from us.
We process every film promptly and with great care. This means you can continue to enjoy your Super 8 footage in the proven SCREENSHOT quality we have provided for more than 7 years – in genuine 2K or 4K resolution, without compromise.
